Fatal Pomona crash death of Marco Trejo Saldivar – Obituary
Marco Trejo Saldivar, 26, and a pregnant woman, Jennifer Loera-Zarco, 25, were killed Wednesday night in Pomona when a driver fleeing police collided with their vehicle. The incident occurred near Garey Avenue and County Road shortly after 10 p.m. following a domestic violence call on East 10th Street.
Pomona police said the pursuit began when the suspect, Marshall Judson, 31, intentionally struck a parked patrol vehicle after returning to the scene. During the ensuing chase, Judson’s truck collided with Saldivar’s car, killing both occupants at the scene.
Judson was arrested on multiple charges, including vehicular manslaughter, DUI, assault with a deadly weapon on a peace officer, felony evasion, and firearm-related offenses. A firearm and firearm components were recovered from his vehicle. He is being held on $50,000 bail as authorities continue their investigation.
