Authorities have identified 48-year-old John Abbott of Grafton as the man who died in a single-vehicle crash in Thiensville on April 1. Abbott was the only person in the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police reports indicate the accident happened just after 2 p.m. near the intersection of Main Street and Freistadt Road. Officials said Abbott’s vehicle was traveling northbound when it veered off the roadway and struck a building at the corner of the intersection.
Emergency responders found Abbott unresponsive upon arrival and he was pronounced dead at the site. The cause of the crash is under investigation, and autopsy results are pending.
Thiensville authorities are asking anyone with information about the incident to come forward to assist in the ongoing investigation.
