Fatal Hornellsville, New York car crash death of Matthew J. Cady – Obituary
A Steuben County man lost his life in a single-vehicle rollover over the weekend, authorities reported. Matthew J. Cady, 32, of Hornellsville, was killed when his pickup truck overturned on County Route 67.
New York State Police said the crash occurred on Friday when the vehicle flipped and came to rest on its roof. Cady, the sole occupant, became trapped inside the truck.
Emergency responders extricated Cady from the overturned vehicle and transported him to St. James Hospital in Hornell, where he was pronounced dead.
State Police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the fatal crash.
