Fatal Morris Heights shooting death of Elyjah Williams – Obituary
Elyjah Williams, 21, a Brownsville resident, was fatally shot in Morris Heights on the evening of March 29. Officers discovered Williams inside an apartment at 1930 Harrison Avenue with a gunshot wound to the head. He was transported to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries the following day.
Authorities report that four individuals, including one man and three women, are currently at large in connection with the shooting. Police responded initially to a 911 call reporting an assault at the apartment building. Investigators are urging anyone with information to contact the NYPD Crime Stoppers Hotline.
