Authorities in Rock County confirmed that 54-year-old Darrel Barrett Jr. lost his life following a vehicle collision in Janesville on April 1.
Emergency crews were dispatched to the area of Highway 51 near West Knilans Road after reports of a serious crash involving a single vehicle. When responders arrived, they found Barrett had sustained critical injuries and was declared dead at the scene.
