According to Tucson police, 25-year-old Jacob Mikal Jacome was involved in the crash around 7:40 p.m. Tuesday along East Golf Links Road at South Country Shadows Drive, near South Houghton Road.
Preliminary reports indicate Jacome was riding a Yamaha off-road dirt bike westbound when he collided with a BMW 135 that was making a left turn from Country Shadows Drive. Officials noted that the dirt bike was not authorized for street use, did not have lights, and Jacome was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
