Authorities in Leesburg are investigating a deadly hit-and-run incident that claimed the life of 40-year-old Ashleah C. Hayes early Friday morning.
Police were called to the area of U.S. Highway 27 and English Road after receiving a welfare check request. When officers arrived, they found Hayes lying in the roadway.
