He sustained critical injuries in the impact and was transported to Benefis Health System, where he later passed away.

Officials stated that Benally was a member of the 341st Missile Maintenance Squadron and originally from Rapid City, South Dakota. His role at the base involved work as a missile handler.

Police in Great Falls said the collision remains under active investigation. Early findings indicate that the incident involved two vehicles, and investigators have not classified it as a hit-and-run. At this stage, authorities have not confirmed whether any citations or charges will be issued.
