Fatal Leavenworth County motorcycle crash death of Trevor Duane White – Obituary

Trevor Duane White, 22, of Leavenworth, tragically lost his life in a crash involving his motorcycle and a Mercedes-Benz in Lansing on November 9. The incident occurred around 2:47 p.m. at the intersection of Main Street and Fairlane. White was riding a 2024 Harley-Davidson southbound on US-73 when he collided with a 2009 Mercedes-Benz C-Class that was turning onto Fairlane.

The collision struck the passenger side of the Mercedes, and White was pronounced dead at the scene. The 89-year-old driver of the Mercedes, George Steger, was uninjured, while 73-year-old Karen Ferengel, a passenger in the vehicle, was transported to the hospital with serious injuries. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
