Fatal Waterloo crash death of Stephen Wesley Bowman – Obituary
A tragic accident in Waterloo early Monday morning claimed the life of 57-year-old Stephen Wesley Bowman of Rice Lake, Wisconsin.
Authorities reported that Bowman had been riding his motorcycle along U.S. Highway 218 when he pulled over around 6:55 a.m. to retrieve an item from the roadway. While doing so, he was struck by a Dodge Grand Caravan driven by 55-year-old Donald Allen Northland of La Porte City.
Bowman was pronounced dead at the scene. Northland was unharmed and immediately contacted law enforcement after the incident.
