Fatal Over-the-Rhine shooting death of Allen Scott – Obituary
The Hamilton County Coroner’s Office has confirmed that Allen Scott, 50, was fatally shot Thursday afternoon in Cincinnati’s Over-the-Rhine neighborhood.
The shooting occurred in the 500 block of West McMicken Avenue, where Scott was found outside on the sidewalk with gunshot wounds. Authorities have not yet identified a suspect in connection with the incident.
Nearby buildings house apartments, but no injuries were reported from residents, and the shooting happened close to the McMicken playground, a public recreational area. The Cincinnati Police Department continues to investigate the case.
