Fatal Hopewell Township crash death of Glynn Evans II – Obituary

Glynn Evans II, a 29-year-old man from Bettsville, lost his life early Friday morning in a single-vehicle crash in Hopewell Township, Seneca County.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol reported that the accident occurred shortly before 6 a.m. on State Route 635, just south of County Road 38. Evans was driving southbound in a Chevrolet Malibu when he failed to properly navigate a curve, causing the vehicle to veer off the roadway.

The car struck a ditch and collided with a concrete culvert. Evans was pronounced dead at the scene by first responders.

Authorities are continuing to investigate the circumstances of the crash.
