William C. Hartman dies in fatal Lower Burrell motorcycle crash

Fatal Lower Burrell motorcycle crash death of William C. Hartman – Obituary

William C. Hartman, a 20-year-old resident of Lower Burrell, lost his life in a motorcycle accident on Monday evening in Westmoreland County. The fatal collision took place around 5:15 p.m. near the intersection of State Route 56 and Wildlife Lodge Road.

Authorities reported that a Subaru Legacy heading north on Wildlife Lodge Road entered the intersection and struck Hartman’s motorcycle.

According to the Westmoreland County coroner, Hartman was not wearing a helmet when the crash occurred and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The incident is under investigation by Lower Burrell police and state police.
