Fatal North Charleston motorcycle crash death of Zachery Kelly – Obituary

Authorities have confirmed that 31-year-old Zachery Kelly of Charleston was killed in a solo motorcycle crash early Sunday morning.

The incident occurred around 2:12 a.m. on the westbound side of I-26, near the interchange with I-526. According to Coroner Bobbi Jo O’Neal, Kelly died at the scene due to blunt force trauma sustained in the wreck.

Responding officers found the motorcycle lying on the on-ramp, while Kelly’s body was discovered approximately 50 feet below.

The North Charleston Police Department continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the fatal crash.
