Fatal Anchorage Alaska rollover crash death of Eeamon Johnston – Obituary

Eeamon Johnston, age 20, lost his life early Saturday morning following a rollover accident on the Seward Highway near mile marker 92.5. Emergency responders found Johnston inside an overturned sedan on the railroad tracks after multiple 911 calls alerted authorities around 3:53 a.m. Despite efforts to save him, Johnston was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver, Wyatt Flotre, sustained injuries that were not life-threatening and was transported to a nearby hospital. Flotre has been arrested and faces several charges, including manslaughter, driving under the influence, and operating a vehicle without a valid license. The investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash is still underway.
