Emmett Zodrow dies in fatal Green Lake car crash

Fatal Green Lake car crash death of Emmett Zodrow

Law enforcement officials in Green Lake have identified the individual who lost their life after being struck by a motor vehicle while operating a bicycle. The incident occurred on Wednesday morning.

The young individual, known as Emmett Zodrow, was twelve years of age. Zodrow was traversing on foot alongside two family acquaintances near Hill Street when tragedy struck.

A driver, identified as Jean Woolley, who is 85 years old and a resident of Germantown, was endeavoring to maneuver her vehicle into a parking spot along the northern edge of Hill Street at approximately 9:54 a.m.

The authorities report that the car inadvertently crossed the edge of the sidewalk, resulting in the collision with Zodrow. The individual became entangled beneath the vehicle, a situation that proved fatal.

Zodrow received serious medical injuries. Emergency medical services conveyed him to SSM Health Ripon Community Hospital, but regrettably, survival was not possible.

The incident is currently being examined by the Green Lake police department.
