Fatal Constantia car crash death of James R. Clark

On Wednesday, August 6th, 2025, a serious traffic collision involving two motor vehicles happened in Constantia, New York, leading to the death of one individual. According to the New York State Police, the accident happened on Route 11.

One of the vehicles in the incident was a 2015 Chevrolet truck, being driven by a 73-year-old man from West Monroe. This truck was also attached to a trailer carrying hay. The driver reported that they were reducing speed to turn left into a nearby driveway when they were hit from behind by the other vehicle.

The other vehicle involved was a 2006 Suzuki motorcycle, which was heading south on the same road. The rider of this motorcycle, later identified as James R. Clark, who was 34 years old and a resident of Constantia, died immediately after the impact. He was pronounced deceased at the scene by emergency responders.

The driver of the pickup truck suffered minor injuries and was treated on the scene. Law enforcement is still examining the situation to figure out exactly what happened leading up to this accident.
