The specific time registered the crash occurring at roughly one point four six in the morning. At the scene of the accident, emergency responders located Davis situated in the southbound direction of Peachtree Road, nearby the Brookhaven City Centre shopping complex. The unfortunate outcome of the collision resulted in his death, stemming from the injuries he sustained.

The authorities believe the individual operating the automobile involved in this collision was nineteen-year-old Kendall Brayden Hudson, also from Atlanta. This technological method allowed the Brookhaven Police Department, in conjunction with their counterparts from the Atlanta Police, to successfully identify and apprehend Hudson.
