Fatal Town of Trenton car crash death of Samantha Pavelka

The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office announced on Friday that a man and a woman were involved in a serious accident Thursday morning in the Town of Trenton. The collision happened early, just before 6 a.m. on County Highway A, located north of Breezy Point Road.

According to reports, a 2011 BMW Alpina lost control and crossed into the opposite lane before hitting a 2017 Kia Sorento that was traveling north. Christopher Murphy, a 46-year-old from Portage, was driving the BMW. He was airlifted to Aurora Summit Hospital by UW Med Flight after the crash and remained in serious condition as of Friday.

Samantha Pavelka, who was 35 and from Beaver Dam, drove the Kia Sorento. She received severe injuries in the crash and was transported to Marshfield Medical Center. Tragically, she later passed away. The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office has indicated that the investigation into this fatal incident is still ongoing.
