Fatal OWEN COUNTY shooting death of JEFFREY FAUBER and GRANHAM ADAM CHANDLER
An investigation by the Owen County law enforcement agency has begun concerning a shooting incident that resulted in two deaths occurring late Saturday. According to a press release issued by the authorities, emergency responders were dispatched to a location in the northern region of the county at approximately 3:42 PM on August 9th. Upon their arrival, the responding officer found two male individuals, both of them deceased as a result of gunshot wounds, located in a private access path near the scene.
The full names of the deceased individuals, who are believed to have been the targets, are identified as JEFFREY FAUBER, aged sixty-one, and GRANHAM ADAM CHANDLER, who was forty-six years old.
Subsequently, the Martinsville Police Department reported that they had been notified by a minor youth who entered the main office area of the Morgan County Sheriff’s authority. This youth had indicated that a criminal activity had transpired in the nearby OWEN COUNTY jurisdiction. Responding members from the Martinsville unit secured the minor suspect inside the building.
Further updates from the state police confirmed that an individual considered a prime suspect in connection with the incident had voluntarily reported to the Morgan County Sheriff’s facility to assist with the ongoing investigation.
