Emergency services converged on the scene early Sunday morning following a deadly motorcycle incident located just north of downtown. Authorities arrived promptly at the intersection of IH-10 and Colorado Street.

The accident transpired around 3:15 a.m. at IH-10 and Colorado Street. According to law enforcement, a rider who was 19 years of age was traveling along IH-10W when he attempted to navigate a curve. He subsequently lost control, was thrown from his motorcycle, and impacted a concrete pillar.

Identifications confirmed the rider as Ethan Carranza, aged 19. Medical professionals declared him deceased at the scene.
