A twelve-year-old youth lost his life due to an unintentional gunshot wound, authorities confirmed. The event transpired on August 9th at 8:50 p.m. when the Shreveport Police Department received a call regarding a shooting in the 500 block of West 74th Street. Arriving at the residence, officers found that a minor had been transported by ambulance to a medical facility but did not survive.
