Brian Justin Baldwin dies in fatal Coffee County car crash

Fatal Coffee County car crash death of Brian Justin Baldwin

A vehicle crash occurring shortly before dawn on Sunday resulted in the death of two individuals. Law enforcement located the vehicle at the intersection of County Roads 127 and 147, about ten miles northeast of New Brockton within Coffee County. Two people were found deceased inside the vehicle.

The Coffee County Coroner, Arnold Woodham, has identified the deceased as Brian Justin Baldwin, aged 46, from New Brockton, and Brittany Faye Dakota Taylor, aged 22, from Ariton. Both victims were not wearing seatbelts and were pronounced dead at the scene.

Baldwin was operating the 2003 Nissan Frontier. The vehicle departed the roadway, overturned, and collided with several trees. The crash is now being investigated by the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA), the Coffee County Sheriff’s Office, the 12th Judicial District Attorney’s Office, and the Coffee County Coroner’s Office.
