Fatal West Side car crash death of Daniel Arredondo

The Bexar County Coroner’s Office announced that a motorcyclist was pronounced deceased due to trauma during a collision on the early morning hours of Tuesday. Daniel Arredondo, who was 20 years old, was confirmed to be the person who lost their life. The incident was recorded by authorities at approximately 12:15 a.m.

The fatal occurrence on the West Side was located close to the area where General McMullen Street runs south and intersects with Wallace Street, which is situated not far from the Castroville Road vicinity.

Preliminary information gathered by the San Antonio police indicates that Arredondo was riding a motorcycle and he collided with the rear of a parked or stationary Chevrolet Impala while he was in the process of making a left turn onto Wallace Street.

Several people who were in the vicinity at the time reported to the police that Arredondo was exceeding the legal speed limit before the collision occurred.

Emergency medical services were dispatched to the location as a result of the incident, but unfortunately, they found that Mr. Arredondo did not have any vital signs remaining. The scene was secured by law enforcement officers who arrived on the scene subsequent to the medical response.

The person who was driving the Impala vehicle remained present at the location and was not subjected to legal action by the authorities involved in the case.
