John Pilcher dies in fatal Fargo assault

Fatal Fargo assault death of John Pilcher

Fargo police have identified the man killed in an attack in the city’s downtown area on August 3rd. According to information released by the Fargo Police Department, 55-year-old John Pilcher was the individual killed during that assault, an event that occurred on the same morning as two other fatal shootings in Fargo.

Further information, dated August 13th, confirmed that the victim of the earlier assault had passed away after being hospitalized for more than a week. Charges against Tabias Walker for aggravated assault in connection with that incident remain active.

At this time, it has not been confirmed whether additional charges are under consideration following Mr. Pilcher’s death. A spokesperson mentioned that the “State will not be making a statement regarding the case or any charging decisions until a meeting with Mr. Pilcher’s family has occurred.”
