Fatal Florence County, S.C. car crash death of Oshunda Quillian

The South Carolina Highway Patrol disclosed the identity of the driver accused in the July fatal collision. Jerryco Quillin, a forty-four-year-old resident of Florence, is being prosecuted under several charges. These include a felony count of driving while intoxicated, a charge resulting in death, and an open container offense.

Identified as Jerryco Quillin, the forty-four-year-old from Florence, the charges are linked to the July eleventh crash situated along Highway 76 and South Fire Tower Road.

According to the Coroner Keith von Lutcken, Oshunda Quillian, a forty-four-year-old woman residing in the Florence region, did not survive the crash.

The vehicle driven by Quillin was a 2014 Chevrolet Sedan.

Law enforcement officers reported that Quillin had attempted to cross over Highway 76 when the vehicle collided with a minivan that was moving in the opposite direction on South Fire Tower Road.

Regarding Jerryco Quillin’s driving under the influence charge, which led to a fatality, and the charge of being a habitual traffic offender whose license was canceled, suspended, or revoked causing death, no bond has been established.
