Law enforcement personnel from the Lake Elsinore Sheriff’s Station are actively seeking the individual who operated the vehicle in the fatal accident that happened on August 13th within the City of Wildomar.
At approximately 6:13 p.m., emergency responders were dispatched to the scene of a severe traffic collision between a car and a motorcycle, specifically at the junction of Bundy Canyon Road and Harvest Way. They discovered the motorcyclist in an unfortunate state, unresponsive within a nearby ravine.
Regrettably, life-saving attempts proved unsuccessful, and the 63-year-old victim, identified as Augustine Garcia of Wildomar, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The individual driving the car involved in the incident was reported to have fled immediately after the collision. According to information released by the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, alcohol is considered a potential contributing factor in this tragic event.
Investigators are focusing their efforts on locating 40-year-old Arturo Morales Deleon, whose involvement is deemed significant by authorities. Sources suggest he may be a person of interest in this fatal hit-and-run incident.
