Joshua Johnson dies in fatal Gardner car crash

Fatal Gardner car crash death of Joshua Johnson

The Gardner Police Department received a call about a crash on Gardner Road around 6:30 p.m. Wednesday.

According to initial reports, a motorcycle traveling south on Gardner Road collided with a northbound Toyota Camry that was turning into a driveway.

The motorcyclist, identified as Joshua Johnson, was taken to the scene but later succumbed to his injuries.

The driver and passenger of the Camry sustained only minor injuries.

Police believe speeding may have contributed to the accident.

The Johnson County Accident Investigation Unit is providing support to the Gardner Police Department with their ongoing investigation.

This incident is currently under review by law enforcement.
