Investigators reported that a 66-year-old individual lost their life in a collision along U.S. 82 near the community of Stewart. The unfortunate incident transpired just before the 11:00 p.m. hour on the 13th of August in the year 2025.

The decedent, identified as Charles H. Martin, resided in Coffeeville. He was operating a 1999 Dodge pickup truck at the time of the accident. According to reports, this vehicle was heading westbound on the roadway. It subsequently departed the main road and impacted a nearby ditch, resulting in the fatality occurring immediately at the location.
