Tufail Ahmad Shah dies in fatal Bandipora drowning

Fatal Bandipora drowning death of Tufail Ahmad Shah son of Bashir Ahmad Shah

Local authorities reported that a young man aged 24 drowned while bathing in the Papchan Nallah located in Bandipora district, Kashmir, on Friday. According to an official source, the deceased has been identified as Tufail Ahmad Shah, whose father is Bashir Ahmad Shah, and he hails from Papchan.

Following the unfortunate event, emergency search and rescue measures were promptly initiated. Rescue teams worked diligently and eventually managed to recover Mr. Shah’s body. He was then transported to the district hospital, but medical professionals confirmed his death upon arrival.

It is worth noting that the local government had previously issued a warning on Wednesday. This advisory cautioned citizens against approaching or bathing in streams and other water bodies because water levels had risen dangerously.
