The Bingham County Coroner’s office announced today that the death of Michael Joe Lee, 39, from Idaho Falls, was the result of injuries sustained in a traffic collision. Mr. Lee passed away at the scene of the incident which happened on Highway 91 near Moccasin Dr. in Fort Hall on Saturday.

UPDATE FROM THE BINGHAM COUNTY CORONER’S OFFICE

The Bingham County Coroner’s Office is continuing to work alongside the Fort Hall Police Department and the Idaho State Police regarding the fatal motor vehicle accident that took place on Highway 91 in the Fort Hall area near Moccasin Dr. on Saturday.

The office reports that Michael Joe Lee, a 39-year-old resident of Idaho Falls, has passed away due to the injuries he received in the collision. The incident remains under active investigation.
