Identified on Thursday, the individual who lost their life in the Bayview neighborhood incident was confirmed as 19-year-old Raynalee Tooks-Robleto. She was reported to be a local resident and passed away on August 11th at a medical facility after being involved in the violent event.

Further details indicate that Tooks-Robleto received injuries during the assault while inside a motor vehicle on Cesar Chavez Street. Police stated that she was one of two individuals wounded in the attack. Her death occurred after medical personnel provided care at the hospital.

The other occupant of the vehicle had their identity and current status uncertain, and no law enforcement actions were announced by Thursday’s end. Responding officers arrived at the scene around 10:30 p.m., found two people with bullet-inflicted injuries inside the car, and emergency responders immediately transported both victims to a nearby hospital for treatment.
