Fatal Kansas City, Kansas shooting death of Tyler Wheeler

Emergency services were dispatched to the 1600 block of Washington Boulevard shortly before 7:11 p.m. on Saturday following reports of shots fired.

Upon arrival, responders encountered two males and one female displaying injuries consistent with gunfire exposure.

Regrettably, one male individual was confirmed deceased at the immediate location. The second male, identified as Victor Loza, 23, who was transported to a medical facility, later succumbed to his injuries. The female involved sustained non-life-threatening trauma.

Further details indicate Tyler Wheeler, aged 26, was a Kansas City, Kansas resident. Victor Loza, the other male victim, resided in Bonner Springs, Kansas.
