Law enforcement personnel from the Horseshoe Bay Police Department received notification of a collision incident just before the stroke of 2 a.m. regarding a pedestrian involved in the accident.

The incident occurred at the intersection where Tonto and Broken Arrow meet. The pedestrian, identified as the 19-year-old Abraham Misael Hernandez from Horseshoe Bay, was pronounced deceased immediately after the occurrence.

A 27-year-old resident of Austin, identified as Oliver Eve, was taken into custody. He faces charges of Intoxication Manslaughter with a Vehicle, a serious offense classified as a 2nd Degree Felony. According to the city’s announcement, Oliver Eve has been booked into the Llano County Jail.
