Liubov Riabovol dies in fatal Suffern car crash

Fatal Suffern car crash death of Liubov Riabovol

Law enforcement authorities in Suffern have announced charges against a local man following the unfortunate incident. According to reports received by Suffern police, emergency services were dispatched to Lafayette Avenue and Woodland Drive on Saturday, the 16th of August, approximately at 4:23 in the afternoon.

An individual serving as an off-duty officer with the Suffern Police force arrived at the scene and reported seeing a vehicle collide with a pedestrian before the driver departed the area without providing assistance. This off-duty personnel then initiated pursuit of the vehicle and apprehended the operator, who was identified as Angel Mendoza Raymundo, a 29-year-old resident of Ramapo. First responders provided immediate medical attention to the pedestrian, Liubov Riabovol, who was 73 years old and also a resident of Suffern. Despite the prompt medical intervention, she was transported to a nearby hospital where her condition unfortunately deteriorated, resulting in her death later on.
