A tragic accident at the junction of North Graham Street and Norris Avenue claimed the life of Joshua Alec Aguila, 30, on Saturday, according to reports. Aguila, operating a motorcycle, met his demise in the collision with another motor vehicle. Paramedics confirmed his death at the scene.
Lorie Barber Hill, the other driver involved in the incident, sustained minor injuries and received medical attention at a hospital. Her condition is not considered critical.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department detectives are examining the accident. The Major Crash Investigation Unit is leading this inquiry, with assistance from the DWI Task Force and the agency’s Motorcycle Unit at the scene.
