Fatal Cleveland shooting death of Yadiel Flecha

Investigators from the Cleveland police department’s homicide unit are examining the death of a seventeen-year-old individual that occurred outside an apartment building. This fatal incident took place on the evening of Friday, August 22nd.

Emergency medical services personnel were dispatched shortly after the 9:30 p.m. hour to the 4200 block of Bohn Road, responding to reports of a male individual being shot. Upon their arrival, the young person was located within an apartment interior, visibly injured by a gunshot wound.

It is reported that the seventeen-year-old was initially shot outside the apartment premises before being brought inside by bystanders. Medical personnel provided on-scene treatment before transporting the injured teen to a hospital facility. Regrettably, despite the medical intervention, the individual later succumbed to their injuries within the hospital setting.

The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner’s Office has officially recognized seventeen-year-old Yadiel Flecha as the deceased. As of Monday, no law enforcement arrests have been publicly confirmed in connection with this case. The specialized homicide investigation unit continues to be actively engaged in the ongoing inquiry.
