Law enforcement officials in Lansing have confirmed the identities of two people killed in a serious traffic accident over the weekend. According to police reports from Monday, Cheniya Rogers, who was 20 years old, and Nathan Pentecost Jr., who was 21 years old, lost their lives in the incident.

The collision, which occurred during the early hours of Saturday morning, was reported to authorities around 4:30 a.m. It took place on West Oakland Avenue, specifically in the 300 block area. Initial information indicated the vehicle involved was transporting multiple occupants when it collided with a utility pole.

Sadly, upon reaching the scene, authorities confirmed that Cheniya Rogers and Nathan Pentecost Jr. were pronounced deceased. The other individuals in the car were transported to a medical facility for treatment. As of Saturday, one of these passengers remained in a critical condition at the hospital.
