Investigators stated that Harjinder Singh was operating his semitruck on Florida’s Turnpike when he executed an unlawful lane reversal, leading to an accident that resulted in the deaths of three people inside a minivan. According to records from law enforcement, the individuals who lost their lives were identified as Herby Dufresne, Rodrigue Dor, and Faniola Joseph.

The probe revealed that Singh, who is 28 years old, was driving the truck and his improper maneuver caused it to obstruct all traffic lanes, causing the minivan to collide with it. Singh is currently being held at the St. Lucie County Jail without having been released on bail. He faces multiple charges, including three counts of involuntary manslaughter and three counts of vehicular homicide.

Additionally, immigration authorities have placed an enforcement hold on Singh. His sibling, who was present in the truck during the incident, has also been taken into custody by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
