Law enforcement agencies have officially confirmed the identity of the individual killed in a recent homicide case in Burke County as 22-year-old Matthew Yury Roderick. This confirmation was made after a thorough examination of the circumstances surrounding the incident.
The Burke County Sheriff’s Office was alerted to the situation following a report concerning a sudden medical stoppage on August 22 at a dwelling situated on NC 126.
