A fatal car crash death of Bryant Anderson, 19, occurred Monday, Aug. 25, in Berkeley County, West Virginia.

West Virginia State Police are investigating the fatal Monday night car crash involving Bryant Anderson. The incident also resulted in the driver, Bryce Anderson, 22, being airlifted to Inova Fairfax Medical Campus in Fairfax County, Virginia. Police reported the single-vehicle crash.

Passenger Bryant Anderson, who was 19, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver, Bryce Anderson, also from Hedgesville, suffered critical injuries during the accident.

Emergency responders, including State police, arrived at the crash site on Buck Hill Road (addressed as the 1300 block) at 9:32 p.m. on Monday, August 25th. Police investigations revealed that Anderson was driving on Buck Hill Road when the vehicle veered off the right side of the roadway. The subsequent impact occurred on the car’s passenger side front, hitting a tree. Trooper K.B. Roos is leading the crash investigation with the assistance of Senior Trooper B. I. Mason, who is providing crash reconstruction expertise.
