A 54-year-old woman whose identity was Esther Elizalde has died following a major traffic incident. Riverside County Coroner’s department informed that Ms. Elizalde from San Jacinto sustained fatal injuries very early on Monday morning.

Emergency services attended Warren Road near Poplar Street and encountered a complex multi-vehicle accident involving three cars. One of the drivers required hospital treatment, while Ms. Elizalde was pronounced dead at the accident location despite medical resuscitation attempts.

The remaining driver involved in the incident was left at the scene to assist in the ongoing investigation without their identity being released. Law enforcement confirmed the accident involved a pickup truck that collided with another car, which then came into contact with a third vehicle. The cause of the collision has been ruled out as impairment by police.
