Geraldina Peguero-Mancebo dies in fatal Berks County homicide

The fatal Berks County homicide death of full name of deceased victim Geraldina Peguero-Mancebo

Officials are examining the circumstances following the discovery of three fatalities in Berks County over the past couple of weeks. To date, one individual faces charges connected to one of the deaths.

The sequence began on September 13th, with Reading Police locating the body of Junior Cabrera-Colon within some vegetation close to Baer Park along River Road. Cabrera-Colon sustained a head wound from a gunshot.

Subsequent investigations revealed that Cabrera-Colon resided with a woman named Geraldina Peguero-Mancebo and her one-year-old child, Jeydon Junior Peguero. This child, Jeydon, had not been seen since September 12th. Pennsylvania State Police subsequently issued an advisory for a Missing Endangered Persons case regarding both Geraldina and Jeydon.

On September 19th, authorities located Geraldina’s body in a field covered with grass within Ontelaunee Township. The following day, September 20th, they found Jeydon’s body in the vicinity. Both fatalities were officially recorded as homicides.
