Fatal Cedar Hill car crash death of Ronald L. Brewster

The Missouri State Highway Patrol confirmed that an 86-year-old man from Cedar Hill passed away after being involved in a serious collision. The incident occurred on Highway 30 at the intersection of Hillsboro Road near Cedar Hill.

According to the preliminary report, a female driver aged 80 from Cedar Hill was operating a 2019 Chevrolet Cruze. At approximately 2:20 p.m. on September 14, she passed through the intersection. A 55-year-old driver from Dittmer, operating a 2010 Honda Pilot, tried to steer clear of the initial vehicle but subsequently collided with the rear of the Chevrolet Cruze.

The female driver suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was transported by ambulance to a hospital in St. Louis County for treatment. The other driver in the Pilot also sustained minor injuries and declined additional medical attention at the scene.

A passenger seated in the passenger seat of the Chevrolet Cruze, identified as Ronald L. Brewster, was declared deceased by hospital staff later that day on September 23. Both Brewster and the female driver involved in the crash were secured with seatbelts at the time of the accident, and both vehicles suffered considerable but not catastrophic damage.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol has stopped releasing the names of accident participants publicly. The Medical Examiner’s Office officially identified the deceased individual as Ronald L. Brewster.
