Fatal El Paso car crash death of Mohamed Ali Mumin (37)

According to Special Traffic Investigators in El Paso, a serious semi-truck incident occurred on I-10 near Schuster at approximately 1:30 AM. Initial reports indicate that Mohamed Ali Mumin, who was 37 years old and a resident of Colorado, unintentionally veered his vehicle onto the right shoulder. He subsequently collided with a safety barrier before being struck by the large truck. Following this collision, Mr. Mumin was transported to a medical facility, where his condition was later confirmed as fatal.

El Paso Police subsequently announced that all traffic lanes on the I-10 Eastbound route have been fully restored to normal operation following the incident. The driver of the commercial semi-trailer rig sustained significant trauma but was successfully transported to receiving medical care. El Paso Fire Department personnel were the first responders on the scene at around 1:30 a.m. and provided emergency treatment before the arrival of specialized traffic investigation teams.
