Fatal Shreveport shooting death of Victor Samuel, Jr.
A tragic shooting incident occurred in the Cedar Grove area shortly before 9:40 p.m. late Tuesday. The precise location was the 8300 block of Harding Avenue. According to the Caddo Parish Coroner’s announcement, the victim was identified as seventeen-year-old Victor Samuel, Jr. He was taken to Ochsner LSU Health Hospital, where he was declared dead at 11:06 p.m. due to the injuries sustained. Shreveport police have classified this event as the city’s twenty-ninth homicide for the year.
