The Bexar County Medical Examiner’s office has officially identified the individual discovered deceased on Wednesday evening at a residential complex located in the Southeast Side of San Antonio. This 22-year-old man, whose identity is Jakayvin Jones, was the subject of the identification.

The incident, which proved to be a fatal shooting, took place around the late hour of 11 p.m. at the Pecan Valley Golf Club Apartments. This location is situated near the intersection of East Southcross Boulevard and Pecan Valley Drive. Initially, law enforcement personnel were dispatched to the scene following reports of gunfire being heard in the vicinity.

Upon their first arrival, the officers did not find any signs or evidence indicating that a shooting had actually occurred. However, shortly after their initial inspection, they made a second visit and located Jones’ body. The body was found between parked cars in the area. According to the information gathered, Jones had sustained multiple gunshot wounds.
