CHRISTOPHER LEE WALDNER dies in fatal TAYLORS car crash

Fatal TAYLORS car crash death of Christopher Lee WALDNER

Law enforcement officials from the South Carolina Highway Patrol confirmed that a driver has lost their life and two individuals are injured following a traffic collision on Friday evening.

Investigators reported that a Subaru Sport Utility Vehicle was traveling westbound on Locust Road, designated as SC 290, when a Honda four-door sedan heading eastbound crossed into the opposing lane and collided with the SUV at approximately 9:35 p.m.

According to the highway patrol, the two passengers within the SUV suffered injuries, whereas the driver of the Honda sedan passed away shortly after.

The victim, Christopher Lee WALDNER, who was identified by the coroner as being 35 years old and a resident of TAYLORS, died around 9:54 p.m., sources stated.

Following a post-mortem examination conducted on Saturday, the coroner determined that Mr. WALDNER’s cause of death was multiple blunt force trauma injuries, and the official conclusion regarding the death was accidental.
