Larry Singer dies in fatal Genesee County car crash
Fatal car crash death of Larry Singer
Law enforcement authorities reported a tragic incident on Wednesday afternoon. The fatality occurred during a collision involving two motor vehicles in Genesee County, specifically a delivery truck transporting propane.
According to information provided by the Genesee County Sheriff’s Office, the accident took place at the intersection of South Street Road and Route 20 in the Pavilion area. The crash happened just before 2 p.m. on October 8th. The victim, Larry Singer, who was 67 years old and resided in Leicester, Livingston County, was operating a passenger car moving southbound on South Street Road when the crash occurred.
It was stated that Larry Singer failed to relinquish the right of way appropriately for the westbound delivery truck. This truck was driven by Howard Kreutter, a 59-year-old man from Warsaw, Wyoming County.
The Sheriff’s Office deputies detailed that the car was impacted by the truck at the intersection. Following the impact, the car crashed into a utility pole and subsequently stopped north of the intersection. Simultaneously, the truck itself overturned and ended up on its side to the south of the intersection.
Sheriff’s deputies confirmed that Larry Singer was pronounced deceased at the scene of the accident.
An investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash is currently being conducted by the deputies.
