Autumn Fox, a four-year-old child, has been identified as the deceased following a fatal incident in Hall County, according to an official report from the local sheriff’s department.

The death of Autumn Fox occurred in a fatal Hall County car crash.

Investigators are probing the circumstances surrounding the discovery of her body in the trunk of a vehicle located in Oakwood. The remains were found near Couch Road in Flowery Branch shortly after the initial discovery.

Law enforcement has not confirmed a connection between the incident and the arrest of Jessica Motes, a 36-year-old woman. However, an outstanding warrant indicates she faces charges of concealing the death of another person. The report notes no established relationship between Autumn Fox and Motes.

Further details regarding the investigation have prompted assistance from the Georgia Bureau of Investigation. According to the warrant, Motes allegedly told her father during a drive in Oakwood that “she is dead” on October 26, and measures to conceal the death were taken. The cause of Autumn Fox’s death has not yet been determined.
